Umbilical granuloma


Age: 14 days
Gender: male
Site: Umbilicus
Duration: 10 days
History: easily bleeding tendency (on minor touch)
Findings: a pinkish red nodule protruding from the umbilical stump
Diagnosis: clinical
Treatment: Successful cauterization with silver nitrate stick (two sessions three days apart)
